Hi, i'm back again, wishing everybody a happy and healthy new year!
I've spent a few days in Hmaburg, meeting classmates form school, friends, family, doing a little shopping, went to see exhibitions at the museum. Before this trip, i've spent 10 relaxing days at home, doing a few things i've planned to do since a while, like, painting two walls in my appartment, reading a lot, sleeping a lot, hanging around at home being lazy. Wunderful.
Now, the new year has started, work has started at full speed again, but the upcoming weekend i'll go to Amsterdam for two days. I'm looking quite forward to that.
I'm not a person who make resolutions for the new year. I have projects. And i've already started working on them. Last weekend i've scetched my kitchen, the project for this spring is to re-do it completely. I've established part of the budget, too.
Other projects might be more personal, like learning to stay more calm in certain situations, don't let some things affect me too much. And to learn to let go. Even if it hurts. This seems to be the biggest and hardest "project". I would like to become a more balanced person. Since i moved a year ago, i have the feeling that i lost my rhythm. My life seems more unorganized, sometimes chaotic, without a routine, though routine there is! But it's not like it was before the move.
I also want to invite more at home, organize some dinner parties, cook for friends.
And travel. And have more time for myself, for reading, drawing, be creative again.
Well, for the moment i'm on a good track, Guess, i'll re-read this post in a couple of months to see how far i've come. What has changed or not.
