Electricity

Just a quick post: i had a big problem with the electricity on monday in my appartment. And it was only mine that was affected by the problem. In fact, the house i'm living in is about 100 years old, and the electric installations have not been maintained very well. So, on monday morning i wanted to iron my clothes and suddenly my phone and tv went on and off and on and off. Result: i passed the whole day at home with the house owner, checking and so on. A day without electricity. Candle light in the evening and in the morning. On tuesday morning an electrician fixed it, but my mobile phone charger "burnt" and my computer screen didn't work anymore. Great !! So the last few days, i've been checking all the devices ( tv, stereo, lampes...) and had to bring my computer to the shop for general checking. Such a waste of time! I guess, this is what bothers me the most. Now i replaced by a new one and have give all the details to the owner and his insurance company.

I would have preferred doing other things during this week's evenings !
